                                                     The gains from reading the Wizard of Oz(閱讀報告- reading report, 和中文直譯 “心得” (the gain from reading…) 略有差異)

This is a very famous book of the world. The story is telling about a little girl who lives in Kansas and how she helped a Scarecrow, a Tin Man, and a Lion changed their lives and disposition. When I finished reading the book, I learned how to be courageous when I face the problem or terrible appearance(incidents).

When I finished reading the book, I learned how to be courageous when I face the problem or terrible appearance(incidents).

   I learned the valuable of friendship from the story,too. The Friendship is important to our lives. A good friend can help you pass the crisis and won’t let you don’t feel lonely. And the other important theme (主題) of the story is the true meaning of a common saying that tells “show the mutual concern of the people in the same boat”. This common saying tells us how important of the companion in your life is. A person can not live without friends or a companion. And the nice friendship usually be is/will be the most beautiful memory in our lives. So we should treasure our friend and this friendship carefully and try not to broke break it and make it be the most beautiful memory that we can remember it all the time.

   And another plot to attract people is the wonderment (Try: wonderful; amazing, bewildering) adventure. The story from the Dorothy’s home ,which was destroyed by the cyclone, to the Emerald city is full of thrilling,magical,and mysterious(thrills, magic, and mysteries). And,in the story,all the roles have their own characteristic(character/n 性格,特質). Like For example, the Scarecrow, he has no brains. Like the Tin Man, he has no hearts. Like the Lion, he is deficiency doesn’t have courage. And they have to help each other to solve the problem they have met in the travel. Finally, they find their own defect in the travel. They all overcome it, and get better in the end of the travel.

   I learned a thing when I finished reading this story. That is “Brave”. The brave is the important main idea of the story. And the brave is important in our lives, too. We need brave to face the problem which happened in our lives. However, it is a very good story for every age to read
