For long, scientists have been trying desperately to span time and space, but what people assess and concern about is how time traveling will affect their lives. Who knows what would happen if the past is changed? Will the future still stay the same?   

Year 2222, it is such an eventful period of time; everything’s changing in an unbelievable rate. As the universe has its eternal motion of expanding reached to a bizarre point that it had never been to, something unknown caused a chaos in one of the galaxies.

At a marginal corner of the galaxy situated a highly civilized planet called Alpha. Planet Alpha is a place where the inhabitants think highly of ethics, peace and respect for nature. Although their technology is developed, they still hold a non-excessive principal that keep they live a carefree and peaceful life through generations. Wisdom is their greatest asset.

In the center of the planet lived a huge canary called Amanda, it features golden feathers and its extra large ass which is nearly a size of a calf. The unique evergreen on planet Alpha, which contains especially high calories, is the main food for Amanda. Besides, it loves to lick up sweet dews on leaves, devouring cactuses is also its favorite. Owing to Amanda’s incredible beauty and special capability of comprehension with them, people esteem it to be their holy bird that brings prosperity and symbolizes eternity.

In a different dimension stood an extremely different world, so was the name unlike, it was called “Earth”. Two hundred and ten years ago, Earth had a completely different destiny and inhabitants which were on the edge of extinction. It is nearly the end of 2012, facing its most tough times it had ever had.

In 2012, numerous devastating and unpredictable disasters broke out one by one in their highly computerized society. In fact, people on the planet were all in despair, the leading power of Capitalism was being called into question and carbon compound pollution exceedingly caused a deterioration in ecology that seemed had already pushed to the limits of the planet.

Soon as many people on Earth was diagnosed with a kind of strange and horrible epidemic that is fatal , a doctor who has a strong aspiration for justice –Tim, was pushed past his capacity to endure anymore.

”I can’t stand watching my patients being tortured anymore!”He thought. Wearing his special armor which made of cardboard, he sneaked into a national lab, trying to steal out the most destructive cannon balls on Earth .”I’d rather take everyone to heaven directly than letting them suffering the pain of such disease! ” He exclaimed. Unfortunately, he was so careless in the lab that he tripped over a component of a weird machine and fell into an enormous net that has a canvas touch. Suddenly, he found himself in a capsule-like place. ”What the..”He murmured. As the floor started to ascend, Tim expected there might be an attack on him so he maintained his state of alert.”Welcome to our worm-hole system!”An ugly big headed creature wearing a baby diaper appeared “Man ,Let me introduce myself, I’m from galaxy Beta which is far away from yours. My name is Martin, nice to meet you! “

“What the hell is this stupid-looking creature?”Tim sneered.

“To tell the truth, our technology excels yours. As long as we don’t despise you, you’d better be polite, too.” It frowned. “.Still less ,I am here to help you! I know you’re all facing a serious problem .Well, here are some good news for you. I know what you need to save your home planet, in a “far but near” place….another dimension….it is called Alpha. The planet lives a magic canary called Amanda , and her golden feather could heal your people.”

Tim was astonished.”What about the compensation? You don’t have the obligation to help us, do you? ”

Martin smiled, its curled tongue slipped out of its wide-opening mouth ”No, boy….we are more compassionate than you think. All we need are just your cannons and canals. I hope we can soon come to a compromise. “

Tim stared at Martin in disgust ”What do you want our canal for? It’s now in a very awful condition , you know…it is poisonous ,the color of the water is dark as ink.” 

“ My young man,” Martin winked its eyes furiously. ”I didn’t say I would drink it, they are the places where our worm-hole system works!”

“Fine, you want the cannons, but …the canals aren’t mine, they belong to our nations. I’m afraid that I’m not the one should make the decisions….”

“Ah….I see, that’s a problem of great complexity , but don’t worry ,life will find the way out.”Martin dipped its arm-like limbs inside the diaper it is wearing and pulled out a colorful dice.”With this tool ,no matter what you assert ,nothing will deter you. Alright, stop wasting our time, let’s take a journey!”

As Martin threw the dice ,the capsule vanished. What came into Tim’s sight is a place that he could only visit in his dreams, the sky is blue and the trees are green , it used to be the scene of Earth.

”Wow! Am I living in paradise !?”He shouted happily.

“Don’t forget your mission!”A squeaky voice came out from his pocket ”Go get Amanda!”

“W….what’s going on!? Who is in my pocket!?”Tim was totally terrified.”No….you are only the dice which the disgusting alien gave me….”

“Yeah ,you are right.”The dice replied “If you want to save your people , you should listen to my instructions. ”

As Tim walk through the grassy land , a beautiful girl-like creature came to him and said something that he couldn’t comprehend.

”Sorry, I don’t get the dialect....”

The girl-like creature quickly pointed a mountain beside her and put a golden leaf on Tim’s head. After she pronounced a sound like “Amanda”, Tim found himself standing on the top of a mountain.

“She’ll come in a few minutes.” the squeaky voice said” Remember, be diplomatic! Tell her the reason why you need her and don’t think about deceiving her , Amanda has intelligence that beyond your imagination. ”

One hour has passed but nothing happened, Tim started to be anxious.”Why didn’t Amanda appear?” As the bright blue getting darker, Tim heard a strange sound in the sky.

A golden canary came and stood ten meters away from him, looking tired as if it had taken a long trip of flight. “It’s Amanda!”The dice shouted.

Tim walked to Amanda.”Amanda , I’m from a distant place where people are suffering horrible diseases and disasters…..to save our people ,I need your help! ”

Amanda gazed at Tim for a while and shook her head slowly.

“Why? What do you mean? I really need your help!” Tim got mad. ’Do you understand!?” The canary kept shaking its head, ignoring the urgent look on Tim’s face.

“What are you doing to our holy bird?”A giant appear beside Amanda. As Tim raised his head, he saw two red eyes beyond him.”Where do you come from?”

Tim could almost smell the menace of the red-eyed giant, he couldn’t help but kept trembling. Suddenly, the dice whispered “Throw me to him!”He obeyed the construction without hesitation.

With a sound boom, the fierce giant disappeared.

After Tim captured Amanda, they both vanished in the space.

“Congratulations! The mission is successful! ”Martin appeared, with an obscene smile on its face.”You save your people! Now let me take a look of Amanda…. ”

But the bird is nowhere to be found.

“What the….” Tim felt his world swirling.

“Alright, I see …the consequence of time traveling ,” The ugly alien sighed.”It is the destiny that we can’t deny.”

As everything comes to the end, the time chain broke into two pieces. The two spaces of 2012and 2222 was separated and their stories go along. After this event, Martin gave the dice to Tim and went back to its home planet.

Tim never knew when he will use the dice to visit the wonderland again, maybe in another space-time, he would meet Amanda again.
